Speech Pathologist
Wendy Lonstein completed her Speech Pathology Degree at the University Of Sydney and is a Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia. With more than 20 years' experience working in a range of service delivery models, including community health, hospitals, schools, and private practice, Wendy has worked with children with a variety of communication disorders, in both one-on-one and group settings.
Wendy genuinely cares about her clients’ wellbeing, and understands that each child and family have differing needs and circumstances, requiring individualised care. Wendy engages in evidence-based intervention, and enjoys working closely with clients and their families, as well as teachers and other professionals, to improve the ability of children to communicate & be part of their community.
Wendy has a passion and special interest in treating children who stutter. Wendy has several years experience in a range of evidence-based treatments for stuttering and is continually developing her skills with further education.
Wendy is registered for medicare and a range of private health insurance rebates. If eligible for medicare rebates or funding, children may be referred by their G.P. Parents and carers can self refer.
