Art Psychotherapist
Mandi Hill completed a Master Degrees in Integrative Child Psychotherapy at the Institute of Art Therapy and Education in London. In London she worked in numerous inner city schools and in a Chid and Adolescent Mental Health Unit as a trainee therapist. In 2006, Mandi immigrated to Australia and became a Registered Art Therapist with ANZACATA (The Australian, New Zealand and Central Asia Association for Art Therapists). Mandi has worked for KidsXpress Charity, a creative and expressive group therapy program for traumatised children.
Since 2016, Mandi has worked in private practice with children and families. Mandi runs therapy groups for preschool children called “Art from the Heart” and has developed a training program for preschool teachers called “Preschool Art – Unlock What they are trying to say”. Mandi currently works at the practice Harley Child and Family in Bondi Junction where she works with children, teenagers and their parents.
Mandi will meet with parents to hear their concerns. As part of the assessment a meeting with the whole family will take place. Together Mandi and the family will work out an individual psychotherapy program that best suits that child. This may involve individual sessions for the referred child, parental support and or family sessions.
Mandi will respond as soon as possible.
