Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Sharon Greenberg is an experienced Clinical Psychologist who has worked extensively with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families in hospitals, schools and developmental clinics, in South Africa, Canada and Australia. Working in multi-disciplinary teams, Sharon has consulted with medical and allied health professionals and teachers to provide comprehensive care.
Her work in schools has equipped Sharon with an understanding of the challenges students face. She is proficient in assessment and diagnosis, including the areas of neurodiversity, scholastic, gender and attention problems. She is experienced in working with clients with an array of clinical presentations, and in supporting them through life's many challenges.
Sharon is a compassionate therapist who regards the relationship with her clients as key. Inspired by Positive Psychology, she encourages her clients to embrace their strengths, optimism and hope, in their journey towards flourishing.
Sharon is committed to suicide prevention and co-facilitates a support group. An accredited AHPRA supervisor, she is actively involved in supervising psychologists.
Sharon’s clients are eligible for Medicare rebates, with a referral from a GP. Some private health funds have provision for Psychology depending on the clients cover.
